As of version 0.5.8.x, preliminary support for WestlawNext has been added.  Full WestlawNext support should be available in the next few months.

The latest Beta Version: 0.5.8.6, has a lot of miscellaneous updates, but the big news is that it has preliminary support for WestlawNext.

Please use the "report error" button in the CiteGenie configuration or results confirmation window to report any instances where CiteGenie does not give you the correct citation.

Anytime a preference sees to not be "sticking" it is likely a problem with the Firefox Preferences Manager.

On the Advances Options tab, set "Use Underline instead of italics" and "Ignore Formatting"  Then do a citation.  Then go back to the Advances Options tab and uncheck those options

Also, make sure Wordperfect is closes, and click on the "Enable GenieMacro" button again to recopy it in case it got corrupted.

If you still have a problem, please use the "Report Error" button in the tip right corner of the CiteGenie confirmation box right after doing a citation.  That will send me important debugging information to diagnose the problem.

I can't imagine this is actually a function of having registered, but it's only since I've registered CiteGenie that I've noticed it.

When I cut & paste from Westlaw (haven't tried Lexis) into WordPerfect X3, case names are no longer italicized (or underlined for that matter).

I have "Formatted text and citation" selected on the WP options section of the Advanced Option config tab and I have enabled GenieMacro.

I'm using Win XP, if that matters.

We have much bigger issues with the new Westlaw changes coming -- that will occupy all developer time in the near future.

Thanks for the helpful explanation.  Once the API catches up, I hope you consider it!

Not at this time.  Chrome does not have nearly the API for extensions that Firefox has, and many necessary features (such as access to the clipboard) are not available at all.

Perhaps after Chrome has matured and enough developers demand the APIs to do things like access the clipboard.

I just found out about CiteGenie and used it for the first time last weekend to write a brief... it was amazing, though I'll now I'll never learn Bluebooking rules since it does everything automatically.  Is there any chance an extension could be developed for Google Chrome for Mac?  Thanks again!
